- Hello! I am the founder/choreographer/director of ANIME DANCE THEATER. I was born and raised in Japan, and now, I'm a New Yorker and a vegetarian. I started my classical ballet training at the age of five, and after moved to New York, I learned modern dance technic at the Merce Cunningham Studio, and learned dance composition from Doris Rudko. My anime dance pieces have been presented by many venues in NYC, Paris, and Japan. We'd love to see you in your town soon! Enjoy!
